Madame Tussauds Beijing tickets

Tourists can buy their tickets at the venue on the day of their visit or buy them online.

When you buy your tickets online, you get a discount on the gate prices and avoid wasting time at the counter lines.

How online tickets work

When you book your Tussauds Beijing tickets online, you choose your visit date. 

Immediately after purchase, you will get a confirmation email. 

There is no need for printouts. 

On the day of the visit, you can show the confirmation email on your phone and enter the museum. 

These tickets are valid for the date selected, but you can enter any time. 

If your plan changes, you can reschedule your tickets online. 

Cost of tickets

Tickets for Madame Tussauds Beijing cost the same on both weekdays and weekends.

Adult ticket: ¥180
Student ticket: ¥130
Child ticket: ¥110
Senior ticket: ¥110

Kids below the height of 1 meter (3.28 feet) needn’t buy tickets, and children between 1 to 1.4 meters (4.6 feet) must get a Child ticket. 

All visitors taller than 1.4 meters must buy an adult ticket. 

An adult must accompany children below 18.

Opening hours

Madame Tussauds wax museum in Beijing opens at 10 am and closes at 9 pm.

The last entry into the attraction is at 8 pm.

Best time to visit

The best time to visit Beijing’s Madame Tussauds museum is on weekdays at 10 am. 

The wax museum is quietest during the early morning or late afternoon. 

The popular tourist attraction gets crowded on weekends and school holidays. 

If you prefer quiet museums or would like fewer crowds, then the best time to visit Madame Tussauds is from January to March and from September to November. 

How long does it take

Guests usually spend about an hour and a half exploring the various exhibits at Beijing’s Madame Tussauds. 

Since it is a self-guided tour, the duration of your visit depends on the time you spend at each of the exhibits and how crowded it is that day. 

Madame Tussauds tickets don’t have a time limit. Once inside, you can stay for as long as you want. 

How to go to Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds Beijing is located in the Dongcheng District of Beijing, China. 

The attraction is five minutes away from Qianmen Station Exit B or C.

If you plan to drive, get to the East of Qianmen East Road and park your car at Xianyukou underground parking lot. 

By Bus

Following buses will drop you off at Qianmen Street – 25, 8, 9, 17, 20, 22, 44, 48, 59, etc. 

By Train

From Beijing Railway Station, take Line 2 and get off at Qianmen Station and take exit B or C. 

The attraction is merely 5 minutes away. 

If you are coming from Beijing South Railway Station, take Line 4 to Xuanwumen Station, transfer to Line 2, and alight at Qianmen Station.

From Beijing North Railway Station, you can take Line 7 to Zhushikou Station, leave through exit A and walk along the Qianmen pedestrian line for 10 minutes. 

By Subway

You can take Line 2, alight at Qianmen Station, and walk for 5 minutes to reach Madame Tussauds. 

Or you can board Line 7, alight at Zhushikou Station, leave from Exit A, and walk north for 2 km (1.25 miles) to reach Madame Tussauds Beijing.
