Madame Tussauds Tokyo tickets

Tourists can buy their tickets at the venue on the day of their visit or book them online

When you buy tickets online, you get a discount of up to 20%, and you save your time from being wasted at the ticket counter lines.

The online tickets help you skip the admission queue and get Priority Entry.

How online tickets work

When you book your Tussauds Tokyo tickets online, you choose your visit date. 

Immediately after purchase, you will get a confirmation email. 

There is no need for printouts. 

On the day of the visit, you can show the confirmation email on your phone and enter the museum. 

These tickets are valid for the date selected, but you can enter any time. 

If your plan changes, you can reschedule your tickets online. 

Cost of the ticket

Tickets for Madame Tussauds Tokyo cost the same on both weekdays and weekends.

Adult ticket (12+ years): ¥ 2,100
Child ticket (3 to 11 years): ¥ 1,500

Kids two years and younger don’t need tickets. 

An adult over the age of 16 years must accompany all kids. 

Ticket discounts

Madame Tussauds Tokyo discount is 20% for pre-booking your tickets online in advance.  

When you buy in advance, instead of paying ¥ 2,600 for a ticket, you will pay only ¥ 2,100 – a discount of ¥ 500.

Visitors with a disability certificate and one accompanying person’s ticket are half the price of an adult ticket.

Opening hours

Madame Tussauds wax museum in Tokyo opens at 11 am and closes at 4 pm, all through the week.

The last entry is always an hour before closing time.

The attraction is closed on Tuesdays.

Best time to visit

The best time to visit Madame Tussauds Tokyo is as soon as it opens at 11 am or between 2 pm and 4 pm, which is the leanest period.

The museum gets crowded on weekends and school holidays. 

If you prefer quiet museums or would like fewer crowds, then the best time to visit Madame Tussauds is from January to March and from September to November.

How long does it take

Guests usually spend about 90 minutes exploring the various exhibits at Tokyo’s Madame Tussauds. 

Since it is a self-guided tour, the duration of your visit depends on the time you spend at each of the exhibits and how crowded it is that day. 

Madame Tussauds tickets don’t have a time limit. Once inside, you can stay for as long as you want. 

How to go to Madame Tussauds

Madame Tussauds wax museum Tokyo is located within Decks Tokyo Beach in Odaiba, next to the LEGOLAND® Discovery Center Tokyo.

From the City Center, it is just 30 minutes.

By Train

Take the Yurikamome line and alight at Odaiba-KaihinKoen Station. The attraction is only 2 minutes away! 

Tokyo Teleport Station on the Ronkai line is five minutes away from Madame Tussauds. 

Park your vehicle at the underground parking space available at Decks Tokyo Beach if you plan to drive.

By Bus

Daiba Nichome Bus stop is in front of Decks Tokyo Beach, and many buses can take you there. 

If you use the City Bus, take the Kai01 line and Nami01 line. 

If you use the Odaiba Rainbow Bus, take the Shinagawa – Daiba line or Tamachi Daiba line. 

Board the Hamamatsu Cho Station – Tokyo International Exhibition Centre route if you use the Km Flower Bus.
